SUMMARY:Partnering for Impact: How CBOs and MCOs Can Address Non-Medical Drivers of Health
DESCRIPTION:Community First Health Plans and Latched partnered to provide pregnancy\, parenting\, and child safety support in San Antonio. In the 88th legislative session\, HB 1575 sought to improve maternal health outcomes by expanding case management for non-medical needs via doulas and community health workers. In response\, managed care organizations (MCOs) increasingly turned to community-based organizations (CBOs) to help address NMDOH. This webinar explained how these policy changes created new opportunities for collaboration and outlined what CBOs needed to know—and do—to build successful partnerships with MCOs. \n\n\n\nTo view the slides from the presentation\, click here.
