Policy Generation Workshop 2

This interactive 2-hour workshop generated specific, actionable policy proposals for supporting the integration of non-medical services into the healthcare delivery system. The first session was on June 6 at 11am CT to maximize member participation.

We reviewed recommended policy changes, and they informed our writing of a policy report entitled Enhancing Texas’ Health Care Investments by Addressing Patients’ Non-Medical Needs, issued in September 2024. The purpose of this report was to educate those interested in NMDOH policy about the array of options available for supporting the integration of and payment for NMDOH services through the healthcare delivery system.
