Partnering for Health: Strategies to Establish Local Food Bank Partnerships

This webinar explored the rapidly growing trend of “food is medicine” programs across Texas. Participants learned best practices for health care organizations seeking to build strategic partnerships with local food banks to leverage food and nutrition resources in support of improved patient health outcomes. Moderated by Rachel Koay from Feeding Texas, the panel featured representatives from Central Texas Food Bank, East Texas Food Bank, and Houston Food Bank, who shared lessons from their on-the-ground partnerships with health care providers.
