Building Capacity for NMDOH Integration through Research Partnerships

Health care systems are on a continuous journey to embrace NMDOH integration, including demonstrating impact and cost-effectiveness for non-clinical initiatives in an overwhelmingly clinical space. Collaborating with academic research partners allows health care systems to build the necessary capacity to innovate, test, and learn, with the goal of sustaining and integrating successful NMDOH interventions for patients. In this session, partners from the UTHealth School of Public Health, UT Dell Medical’s Factor Health, and Harris Health will share details about current NMDOH related studies serving Harris Health patients and discuss opportunities to advance delivery of NMDOH services.
